Safety First!

Over the next two months, we are going to be focusing on the safety aspects of each of our cars. With the upcoming rainy season, you can't know too much about the technologies keeping you on the road! We'll be jumping back and forth between blogs, but I'll be sure to provide links to follow with. One of the most important things about our vehicles is that we don't sell safety features! All of our vehicles, from base model to fully loaded, have all of our safety features packed in! That's right, there are no safety options. One of the most important of these features is called the Crumple Zone. The Crumple Zones are located in front of, and to the rear of the safety cage (where the driver and passengers sit). These areas are built with strategically placed grooves and ridges that are designed to collapse on impact. The crumble up much in the same way as an accordion. The idea behind this is that much of the energy from the impact will be absorbed by the crumple zone instead of transferred to the occupants. This is an important feature for both front and rear-end collisions. The concept ripples the energy of impact around the outside of the car, while the occupants remain in the intact safety cage, protected from major injury! Below is an example of this on Volkswagen CC. Thats the way the Vee-Dub crumples!
